...The game can be played in three betting structures: fixed limit, pot limit and no limit. We first focus on the fixed limit version, then, gradually expand it to pot limit and no limit. We start the game by placing a round small disc called the “dealer button” or “button” in short next to one of the players. The button determines the betting order in every turn and also indicates which players will place an initial wagers, called blinds, before any cards are dealt. These “blind” bets are placed in order for the pot to have some money to play for before the game starts. The button will move one player to the left at the end of every round. The person sitting to the immediate left of the button will place a blind bet called “small blind” according to the table limit and the person to his left will place twice the amount of this bet which is called “big blind” In a $10 - $20 fixed limit TH game the small blind will be $5 thus the big blind will be $10. The game limit determines the blinds and the betting amounts throughout the game.
